Dr. Brian Clement, author of “Killer Fish,” on our planet’s contaminated water systems and our health
In this episode, we bring you a fascinating interview with Dr. Brian Clement about his new book, “Killer Fish: How Eating Aquatic Life Endangers Your Health.” Dr. Clement has spent several decades researching and practicing in the fields of nutritional science and progressive health care. He’s the director of Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida, and is the author of numerous other books on various aspects of health, spirituality, and natural healing, including his bestselling book “Living Foods for Optimum Health.”
We also bring you an update on palm oil—and tell you why so-called “sustainable” palm oil is now definitively a meaningless green-washed buzzword. Why not try a homemade vegan margarine recipe instead that doesn’t use palm oil? We’ll point you to a couple of those. Plus, we talk more about the inexcusable practice of horse tripping, just one of many horrible things that people do to animals in rodeos, and bring you news about what happened to one activist when he tried to film an Oregon rodeo.
And, of course, we highlight other News from the Vegan Frontier, let you know about vegan related happenings in and around Central Oregon, and more!
