We speak with Will Potter, author of Green Is The New Red: An Insider’s Account of a Social Movement Under Siege and creator of GreenIsTheNewRed.com, where he blogs about the Green Scare. Will talks with us about proposed laws to restrict undercover investigations, discusses the effects of the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA) on the civil liberties of animal rights activists, and exposes the corporate interests behind these laws. He also shares what originally motivated him to investigate the abuses of the AETA post 9/11.
