Grant Butler, interviewed in this show, will be speaking at the Northwest VEG Portland potluck on Sunday, February 20. The potluck is at 5 p.m., the talk is at 6:30 p.m.
Dr. Hans Diehl, heart researcher, author and founder of the internationally acclaimed Coronary Health Improvement Project (CHIP), will give two free talks at the Adventist Medical Center Amphitheater, 10123 SE Market Street, Portland, OR on February 21 at 2 p.m. and February 22, at 7 p.m.
Paul Shapiro, Senior Director of the End Factory Farming Campaign of the Humane Society of the United States, will be speaking at the Northwest VEG Vancouver potluck on Thursday, February 24. The potluck is at 6:30 p.m., the talk is at 7:30 p.m. He’ll be talking about the new initiative campaign just launched in Washington to ban the extreme confinement of chickens in battery cages.
